Thomas Scheibe is a Director Product Management in Cisco's Datacenter, Switching, and Services Group. During his 10+ years at Cisco he worked with customers in the commercial, enterprise, and Service Provider space. Prior to Cisco, Thomas worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company advising clients in the transportation, automotive and energy industry. Thomas holds a MSEE from Technical University Chemnitz (Germany) and a M.B.A. from Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley.

JIM THEODORAS (jtheodoras@advaoptical.com) is currently Director of Technical Marketing at ADVA Optical Networking, working on optical transport and carrier Ethernet products. He has over 20 years of industry experience in optical communication, spanning a wide range of diverse topics. Prior to ADVA, Jim was a Senior Hardware Manager and Technical Leader at Cisco Systems, where he managed Ethernet Switch development on Catalyst series product. In his 10 years at Cisco, he also worked on optical multiservice, switching, and transport products and related technologies such as MEMs, electronic compensation, forward error correction, and alternative modulation formats, and was fortunate enough to participate in the “pluggable optics” revolution. Prior to Cisco, Jim worked at Monterey Networks on 10G hardware development, Alcatel Networks on DWDM long-haul transport systems, Clarostat on sensors and controls, IMRA America on a wide range of research topics from automotive LIDAR to femtosecond fiber lasers, and Texas Instruments on a variety of military electro-optical programs. He earned a M.S.E.E from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.S.E.E. from the University of Dayton. He has 14 patents granted, and was optical liaison editor for IEEE Communication Magazine from May 2006 to Nov 2009.
Stephen Garrison has more than 19 years of experience designing strategic marketing programs for the telecommunications and networking industries. Prior to becoming vice president of marketing, Garrison directed the company’s corporate marketing and customer activities. Prior to joining Force10 Networks, Garrison was the senior director of marketing at Riverstone Networks, where he was responsible for building customer programs. Earlier, he served as the director of marketing at Cabletron Systems. Garrison received a B.S. in ceramic science from Alfred University and an M.S. in materials science and engineering from MIT. He also holds four patents and sits on the board of directors for the Ethernet Alliance.
Sunil Ahluwalia is Marketing Chair of Ethernet Alliance Data Center subcommittee as well as Sr. Product Line Manager at Intel’s LAN access division. At Intel, he is responsible for marketing 10GbE products and storage technologies for the Data Center. Ahluwalia has over 14 years of management experience in the software and semiconductor industry during with he held various positions in strategic planning, product marketing, and product development.
Prior to his current assignment, Ahluwalia was Strategic marketing manager in the Server platform group; in this capacity he led a team that redefined server product roadmap.
Prior to joining Intel in 2000, Ahluwalia served as Director, Professional Services for Trillium Digital Systems, Inc. There he lead the expansion of Trillium’s services business and established an overseas development center in Bangalore, India.
Ahluwalia received an MBA from University of Oregon's Charles H. Lundquist College of Business. He also holds a bachelor of technology degree in computer science and engineering from the Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India.
Manoj Wadekar is Fellow & Technology Strategist at QLogic Corporation and is responsible for driving architecture and technology strategy for QLogic’s Adapter products in Data Centers. He has been driving cross-industry initiative for IO Consolidation over Ethernet for Data Center deployment. Manoj is leading the effort for QLogic in various standards bodies: IEEE, IETF and T11 to drive DCB and Storage over Ethernet. Manoj has 16+ years experience in networking industry and has led various product teams for Ethernet Switch and NIC products, Frame Relay and ATM products. He has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India and has 9 pending patents.

Crystal Black has been in the tech industry for 10 years and is currently a marketing manager for JDSU’s Test and Measurement group. In addition to support for the Marcom team, Crystal also manages outbound marketing communications initiatives for the Storage Network Test group, formerly Finisar’s Network Tools, which include Fibre Channel, Ethernet, and FCoE technologies. Previously, Crystal has focused on driving domestic and international events, web site development and marketing, and social media marketing. Crystal has a Bachelor and a Masters Degree from Virginia Tech.

In addition to serving as the Ethernet Alliance Chief Marketing Officer and a founder of the organization, she consults for a variety of hardware and software companies, and sits on the advisory board of 4Blox, a software iSCSI company. Ms. Kohl has held multiple marketing and sales executive management positions: VP of Marketing and Sales at Tehuti Networks, an Israeli 10 Gigabit Ethernet start-up; VP of Marketing at Bandspeed, an IEEE 802.11 start-up; and Director of Marketing at Intel's LAN Access Division (LAD) where she managed the development and launch of the industry's first 10 Gigabit Ethernet NICs and iSCSI HBAs as well as directed seed investments, participated in M&A decisions, and was instrumental in many critical partnerships. Ms. Kohl came into Intel via the acquisition of Level One Communications, which had acquired Jato Technologies, a 1 Gigabit Ethernet start-up. Prior to Jato Technologies, Ms. Kohl worked for Motorola.

As a Senior Account Manager within VTM’s Initiatives Management Group at VTM, Inc, Morgan is responsible for leading client accounts as well as an account team dedicated to management and support activities for multiple VTM clients. She has extensive experience in consulting, management, marketing and event planning for several high-tech industry standard organizations. Since joining VTM in 2005, Morgan’s consulting experience includes work with Ethernet Alliance, High-Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance, Digital Living Network Alliance, Advanced Access Content System, Service Availability Forum, Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem, Digital Content Protection, and Blu-ray Disc Association.
Morgan holds a B.A. in business with an emphasis on both marketing and management from Portland State University.
