The SFP+ Subcommittee conducted their plugfest with SFP+ direct attach copper cabling (SFF-8431 – 10GSFP+Cu) on October 19-23 in Durham, NH. This interoperability event was to ensure the market readiness for 10GSFP+Cu. More information is available here.

Ethernet Alliance members AppliedMicro, Amphenol, Broadcom, ClariPhy, Cortina Systems, FCI, Intel, Molex, Panduit, Tyco Electronics, Vitesse and Volex successfully conducted multivendor interoperability testing of the Direct Attach Copper “10GSFP+Cu” option of the SFF-8431 specifications.
