Over 25 years of experience architecting, designing, and leading engineering teams. HPE’s Power over Ethernet (PoE) subject matter expert. Active participant in standards organizations including Chair of the PoE Subcommittee at Ethernet Alliance, voting member of IEEE 802.3, and member of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) US Technical Advisory Group (TAG). Holds two US Patents in the Networking field and patent trial experience defending HP Company in a US Federal courthouse.

Chad Jones, Hardware Engineer and Technical Leader, Cisco Systems
Chad Jones is a Hardware Engineer and Technical Leader at Cisco Systems, having spent over 22 years at the company. Mr. Jones is recognized as a subject matter expert in Power over Ethernet (PoE). He is an NFPA member and has served as a Principal on CMP3 since 2017. Mr. Jones is a Senior Member of IEEE and has participated in and chaired several 802.3 standards during his 20+ years working on IEEE standards, including the three PoE standards.
Jim Davis, Product Application Specialist, Fluke Networks
Jim Davis has been working in the cabling industry for over 25 years, the last 23 years at Fluke Networks, first as the Sales Director, and now as a Product Application Specialist. Jim has worked on International Cabling Standards Committees and is a frequent speaker at trade shows. Jim’s objective is to bring the experience of the Industry, Market and the Lab to you and present it in way that the common user can understand.
Eric Wall, Product Manager, UL
Eric Wall is a Product Manager in UL Solutions Engineered Materials group. His focus is on the High-Speed Data Connectivity and Low-Voltage Power services that UL offers for both performance and safety. Eric holds a BSEE from UW-Madison and has been involved in the Wire & Cable industry for over 10 years.
