Dr. Rang-Chen Yu is currently Vice President of Marketing for TeraHop, a global leader for optical connectivity solutions for AI/data center applications. He is Co-Chair of XPO MSA and Open CPX MSA.
Prior to TeraHop, he was Sr. VP for SiFotonics, a pioneer in development and commercialization of silicon photonics technologies. He served as Vice President and General Manager for Oplink Communications (acquired by Molex), and also served executive and senior management positions for several photonics technology companies such as Source Photonics, Agility Communications (acquired by JDSU) and SDL (acquired by JDSU). Dr. Yu earned his Ph D. in Solid State Physics at U. Penn, and B. S. in Physics at Peking University.
