Adrian Motamedi is an Azure Cloud & AI System Architect at Microsoft, specializing in high-speed interconnects and AI infrastructure. Over a career spanning networking, semiconductor, AI, and clean-energy industries, he has held engineering and architecture leadership roles at Siemens, Infineon, Juniper Networks, Aruba Networks, Xpliant, Marvell, Tenstorrent, and Microsoft.
His contributions include the development of Juniper’s MX2020 backplane architecture, a 3.2 Tbps Ethernet switch ASIC, EV charging infrastructure deployments, and large-scale AI inference systems at Tenstorrent. Adrian holds six patents in high-speed design and simulation, has presented at JEDEC and DesignCon, and is a long-time IEEE member and nonprofit board contributor.
