HSN Plugfest
The Ethernet Alliance is planning a plugfest event the week of June 2nd through June 6th, 2025 at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab (IOL) in Durham, New Hampshire.
The event will focus on interoperability, conformance testing/pathfinding, and interconnect functionality. Interconnect conformance testing will begin on May 19th, 2025, in order to pre-qualify cables and modules, in collaboration with UNH and the InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA).
Event Focus
- Interoperability of Ethernet systems from 100GbE to 1.6TbE
- System to system and system to transceiver L1 interoperability assessment of Ethernet devices including NICs, switches, servers, storage arrays, cables and test equipment.
- 50G/100G/200G per lane testing
- Ethernet host PHY compliance assessment
- Continued 50G and 100G/lane AN/LT evaluation
- Pathfinding and testing in support of IEEE 802.3dj 2.0 draft completion
- Interconnect validation
- Conformance testing for various interconnect options, including DAC, AEC, ACC, AOC, retimed optics, linear optics, and partially retimed optics.
- Cable/module functionality, including testing of dynamic configurations, timing, and power.
Invitation
Both members of the Ethernet Alliance as well as other interested parties with devices/system addressing the above specifications are invited to attend. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to admin@ethernetalliance.org for more information.
