Mabud Choudhury is Principal Standards Expert at Genuine Optics, representing his company affiliation across IEEE 802.3, OIF, and MSA standards bodies. He currently chairs the IEEE P802.3ds 200 Gb/s per Wavelength MMF PHYs Task Force and formerly served as Vice-Chair of the IEEE P802.3db 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Short Reach Fiber Task Force. His extensive industry experience includes R&D and standards leadership roles at AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent, Avaya, CommScope, OFS, and Lightera. Mr. Choudhury holds an MSME from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a BSME from Duke University, and 32 U.S. patents.
