For more than 35 years, the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition/ National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (OFC/NFOEC) has been the premier destination for converging breakthrough research and innovation in telecommunications, optical networking and, recently, datacom and computing. Uniting service providers, systems

companies, enterprise customers, IT businesses and component manufacturers, along with researchers, engineers and development teams, OFC/NFOEC combines dynamic business programming, an exposition of more than 500 companies and cutting-edge peer-reviewed research into one event that showcases the trends and pulse of the entire optical communications industry.

At OFC/NFOEC 2011 Ethernet Alliance showcased a live demonstration products developed for use in next generation data centers. A live network transporting 10G, 40G and 100G traffic over optical and copper links, and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) traffic was showcased in the booth. There was also a static demo of storage over Ethernet equipment, test equipment, components, cables and connectors that are part of the Ethernet technology family being deployed into data centers and high performance computing environments.

Ethernet Alliance thanks the following member companies for their participation at OFC 2012:
